In a rare move, Manoj Bajpayee's Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai got a theatrical release after receiving a thunderous response on the OTT platform, ZEE5. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the film became the most viewed direct-to-digital original in the last 12 months across languages on the platform.
Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai has now released in select theatres across the country owing to the tremendous success it witnessed on OTT. Sharing the list of theatres that are screening the film, Manoj wrote, "Thank you for your unwavering love and support so far on the #SirfEkBandaaKaafiHai journey. #Bandaa aa gaya hai aaj aap se milne select cinemas mein, don't miss out!"
Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is a courtroom drama in which Manoj Bajpayee plays the role of lawyer P.C. Solanki. It is the story of an ordinary man - a high court lawyer who single-handedly fought an extraordinary case against the country’s biggest godman and successfully ended up prosecuting him for the rape of a minor under the POCSO act.
Produced by Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Limited, Zee Studios and Suparn S Varma, the film also stars Adrija Sinha, Vipin Sharma and Surya Mohan Kulshrestha.
