In June 2022, PeepingMoon had exclusively informed its readers that Shah Rukh Khan reunited with Deepika Padukone for Jawan. Now, it has been confirmed that the actress will be seen in a cameo in the Atlee-directed action thriller. The prevue which released today featured her in a badass avatar. 

In Jawan Prevue, Deepika appears for 2 seconds and that's enough for people to stay seated and enjoy the ride. It isn't a conventional cameo as she gets to perform some high-octane action stunts and that too in a saree. Did you notice how she was beating Shah Rukh, whom she recently romanced in Pathaan?

Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Vijay Sethupathi. It is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation, produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film will release worldwide in theatres on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
