Aflatoon, a Marathi family entertainer has been released in theatres today. The film as promised by its trailer has surely managed to entertain the masses to the fullest with the highlight being its song Maka Naka. The film has all the elements of a full-blown big-budget movie and is already receiving love and appreciation from the audiences. Aflatoon has an ensemble cast spearheaded by Johnny Lever, Siddharth Jadhav, Paritosh Painter, Shweta Gulati, Bharat Dabholkar, Vijay Patkar, Tejaswini Lonari, Jayesh Thakkar & Jesse Lever. The chemistry between the three main characters Shree –Adi-Manav (Siddharth Jadhav – Paritosh Painter – Jayesh Thakkar) who play blind, deaf, and dumb detectives is wonderful. Especially, the Dumb Charades bit by Paritosh & Jayesh will leave you engrossed in the film. Siddharth Jadhav & Johnny Lever live up to their expectations, the costumes are colourful & well-coordinated.
Shweta Gulati and Tejaswini Lonari provide the necessary glamour quotient and are wonderful in their respective parts. Shweta Gulati and Bharat Dabholakar play their part extremely well. The first-time chemistry between Jonny Lever & his son Jesse Lever, who plays his stepson in the movie is also highly entertaining. The film is made using amazing colour palettes, it has a lovely art direction and to top it all it also has a fun, intriguing script.
The movie ends with the song Maka Naka which is beautifully choreographed by Raju Varghese on Music by Kashyap Sompura. A new-age Marathi film with all the necessary ingredients to make it an out & Out Commercial Marathi blockbuster film. Aflatoon Written & Directed by Paritosh Painter is a film for all seasons.
