Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the most versatile actors in the industry and is known for his unique avatars and selection of films. After the success of the film Dream Girl (2019), the makers are back with a sequel, Dream Girl 2, which will star Ananya Panday opposite Ayushmann. 

During the recent song launch event in Delhi which took place on August 10, the actor shared about the preparations and challenges he faced while playing his new character in the film. The actor shared that it was difficult to switch between the roles of being Pooja and Karam and ensure to hit the comic timing right. Ayushmann said, "The 2.0 version of Dream Girl is not just about the voice, its also about the 'being'. Its transformation, look, and after shooting for this film I have realised it's too difficult to be a woman. Its all for feminism." Further the actor added, "I loved playing a woman in the film."

Dream Girl 2 is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and will release on August 25, 2023.
