Gadar 2 is living upto it's name, creating havoc at the box office, literally. In its week, the Sunny Deol starrer on Friday minted Rs 20 crores, but picked pace on Saturday by earning Rs 31.07 crores on Saturday, with an  exceptional performance on Sunday - making it to approx additional Rs 90 crores all-together! 

The total film collection  stands at Rs 377.20 crores at the moment and is all set to enter the Rs 400 crores club soon. Gadar 2 also had films like OMG2, Jailer and Bholaa Shankar in competition but has been  breaking the records one after another, leaving no room to hail it as a blockbuster above all!

With its stupendous business, the also became the 5th highest grosser of all the time beating Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai with a collection of Rs 339.16 crores, Aamir Khan’s PK with Rs 340.80 crores and Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju which stood at Rs 342.53 crores.

The film follows the story of Tara Singh (Sunny) who returns back to Pakistan to bring back his son amidst Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. Gadar 2 is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster Gadar and Sunny & Ameesha Patel have carried forward their roles.
