Netflix’s first Pakistan-themed original Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo - is under works! Momina Duraid will be the showrunner for the series, based on Farhat Ishtiaq’s 2013 bestselling Urdu-language novel with the same name. 

The series will bring back the popular duo of _Humsafar_ aka Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, and who were last seen together in The Legend of Maula Jatt. Along with them, _Zindagi Gulzar Hai_ fame Sanam Saeed, Maya Ali, Ahad Raza Mir, Hamza Ali Abbas, Iqra Aziz, Nadia Jamil, Omair Rana,Samina Ahmed and Bilal Ashraf are among other actors who will feature in the series.
 
The series revolves around Sikandar, a Harvard law student who experiences a life-changing incident that makes him keep others at bay, and Liza, a talented artist who is bursting with life but has had a troubled past. They meet in Italy.

The official release date is yet to be announced, and it's currently underway production in Italy, the UK and Pakistan.
