Recently, Esha Deol organized a special screening of her step-brother Sunny Deol’s blockbuster film Gadar 2. The screening was organised only for the family members and close friends. Prior to screening, Esha posed with Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol and her sister Ahana for the paps, making it the first public appearance of them all together, for press. Later Hema Malini was seen exiting a theatre after watching with Gadar 2. 

Following this, Hema Ji recently shared about her thoughts on this reunion. The veteran actress shared that it’s not the first time they all are meeting and if there is any problem they are always together with each other. 

"I am feeling very happy. I do not feel it is something new because it is very normal. Many times they keep coming home and all but we do not publish it anywhere, we are not the type to take pictures and immediately put it up on Instagram. We are not that kind of a family. Any problem, we are always together with each other. So, the press got it this time, and it is nice they are happy about it, and I am also happy," shared Hema Ji, who rarely speaks about her family in public. 

Hema Ji also addressed the speculation around her not attending Karan Deol's wedding. She revealed there was a reason she could not be a part of the wedding but Sunny and Bobby have been coming to her house for Raksha Bandhan ‘from the beginning’.
