Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has turned to be super successful and has received massive love from the audience. But  what caught a lot of attention was the on-screen kiss between the veteran actors Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in one of the scenes. 

Recently in one of the interviews, Hema Malini was asked if she is ready to kiss on-screen like her husband Dharmendra, to which the veteran actress answered that if the film requires it, she might do it. 

Hema ji stated, "Kyun nahi karenge, bilkul karenge. If it is nice, if it is relatable and gels with the film, maybe I can."
Earlier when the actress was asked about her thoughts on this scene in another interview, Hema Ji had replied that she hasn't seen it (film).

Interestingly, when Dharmendra was asked about the kissing scene in an earlier interview, he had replied, "I am hearing that Shabana and I have surprised the audience with the kissing scene, and at the same time, they have even applauded it. I think people weren’t expecting it and it came very suddenly which is why it created an impact. The last time I did a kissing scene was in Life In A Metro with Nafisa Ali and at that time too, people had appreciated it. "
