The much-awaited Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in the lead is finally out in theatres.The audience are loving Ayushmann’s performance and his ultimate transformation from Karam to Pooja throughout. The film has registered over Rs 10.69 crores making it the highest first day opening for the actor in his acting career till now. Overcoming his previous film Bala that had recorded Rs 10.15 crore nett on its first day, and Dream Girl that had also set the cash counters ringing by collecting Rs 10.05 crore nett on the opening day.

Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film is a sequel to the 2019 hit Dream Girl which starred Ayushmann and Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead.
