The news of Janhvi Kapoor’s engagement has been all over after the actress was spotted visiting Tirupati temple with her rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya. Post the videos of her visit went viral, in which she was seen walking out of the temple wearing a big diamond ring, fans began to speculate if the actress has got engaged to Shikhar.

But the assumptions of the actress engagement seem baseless. As per our sources, Janhvi is not engaged and her visit to Tirupati temple was for her late mother, Sridevi’s birthday. 

For the unversed, Janhvi always pays a visit to Tirupati Temple on the occasion of her birthday, however this year she was shooting for her upcoming film Ulajh in Bhopal at the same dates. Hence, she couldn't pay a visit to the holy shrine on August 13.
