Aamir Khan collaborated with Rajkumar Santoshi for the first time back in 1994, for the comedy Andaz Apna Apna which also starred Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon in the lead. The film has turned to be one of the most iconic Bollywood comedies back in 90’s and now the actor is all set up to team up with the filmmaker once again.

As per the sources, the actor and the filmmaker will team up after almost 30 years and the film is set to release on Christmas 2024. 

The source said to a leading website, “Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Santoshi have been discussing a subject for a while now and things have finally fallen into place.  Aamir has loved what’s developed by Santoshi and has been sitting with him to work on all the aspects over the last few months. Aamir and Rajkumar Santoshi are all set to bring their entertainer during the Christmas 2024 weekend. The prep work is going on in full swing and the film is all ready to roll out in January.”

Aamir was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha back in 2022 where he starred opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film turned out to be a commercial failure post which actor didn’t appear on the big screen.
