Ameesha Patel has recently made her comeback to the films with Gadar 2 where she starred opposite Sunny Deol. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film turned to be a humongous success. Breaking the records one after another, the film’s box office collection is close to Rs 500 crores.

In a recent interview, Ameesha spoke about making of Gadar 3 and revealed what is the condition for her to do the film. “Not only will I make it clear during the narration, but for any reason if Tara and Sakeena are not there much together, I will reject the film. I will not do it only. I will not disappoint my fans because I know what they felt was lacking this time around and we owe it to them. At the end of the day, they are coming for Tara and Sakeena. Their love and attachment are for Tara and Sakeena. You cannot have Titanic (1997) without Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. Because of this, the NRI audiences haven’t caught on to the film like they did for part 1," shared Ameesha. 

Gadar 2 follows the story of Tara (Sunny) who returns to Pakistan to bring back his son amidst the Indo-Pak war of 1971. The film had its release on August 11, 2023.
