Ameesha Patel has made a spectacular comeback with Gadar 2 where she is starring opposite Sunny Deol. The film has turned out to be super successful and has already crossed Rs 500 crores at the box office. Ameesha, who has been giving interviews since then, has recently claimed that Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was intially supposed to make her debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in 2001 Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, didn't exit the film. In Ameesha 's words, Kareena was shown the door by director Rakesh Roshan! 

“Actually, she (Kareena) didn't back out. From what Rakesh ji told me, he asked her to leave the film because they were having differences," claimed Ameesha. The actress further added that the filmmaker had to find the replacement for the role of Sonia (played by Ameesha) in just three days. The Gadar star further reinstated that she didn’t know the backstory but Hrithik’s mother told her that the day the filmmaker saw Ameesha at the wedding he realized that she is perfect for the role.
