One of the most anticipated films of the year, Jawan finally released yesterday taking over the big screens by storm. With the stellar cast of Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathhi in the lead and featuring actresses from Deepika Padukone to Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra, the film was welcomed by masses and how. 

At the end of day 1, Shah Rukh’s film went on to break its own record and has surpassed Pathaan’s first day collection which released earlier this year. Previously Pathaan made a record by collecting over Rs 57 crores on its first day of release becoming the highest opener but now Jawan is aiming higher. As per the reports, Jawan has crossed the mark of Rs 75 crores with its total collection on the first day itself out of which it is estimated that approx Rs 65 crores came from Hindi version and the rest Rs 10 crores were from the remaining dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions.

Directed by Atlee Kumar, Jawan had its worldwide release on September 7, 2023.
