Asha Bhosle is undoubtedly one of the most successful, iconic singers of the industry. In her career spanning over 8 decades, she has sung over 12,000 songs not only in Hindi but 20 other regional languages as well. Blessed with a divine voice and unmatchable range, the singer celebrates her 90th birthday today. 

In a recent interview, Asha Ji revealed that she still feels young at the heart and age is just a number for her. "I feel the person who keeps his age in mind becomes old. I still don’t feel that I am a day older than 40. It’s only when I see my children, grandkids, and great-grandkids that I realise that so much time has gone by," quoted the singer and also added that she loves to travel and interact with her audience.

Asha ji is the younger sister of another legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar who passed away back in February of the last year.
