Jawan which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi has been raising the bars higher ever since its release. Atlee Kumar’s directorial has already emerged as the fastest film to enter Rs 400 crores club domestically and continues with its unmatchable performance.

Contrary there have been news of Thalapathy Vijay featuring in the film prior to its release which didn’t happen. Amidst all these, the filmmaker was asked in one of his recent interviews, if he is going to work with the actor again, and with his answer the speculations of Vijay featuring with Shah Rukh have arised. Starting with the mention of working with the actor again, Atlee said, "Of course, it will happen, and why there's a doubt? I have done just 5 films out of which 3 are with Vijay. So, when there's the right time, we are going to do next."

He further added, "Jawan was always made for Shah Rukh Khan, I never had a second thought that who can play it. But from day one, from script to scenes, which schedule will be when the only person I interacted was Vijay sir. He is like a brother to me and we are really serious about what we do in our life. He used to share about his film, and I would share about Jawan to him. He was very advisory, always a backbone to me. Yes, we shared with each other a lot of stuff on Jawan but it was purely made for Shah Rukh Khan sir."

Jawan released on September 7 and also features Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra and Deepika Padukone.
