The much awaited Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar starrer The Great Indian Family finally released yesterday. Although the excitement for the film has been high throughout, its box office collection didn’t turn to be so grandeur.
The film has collected only Rs 1 crore on its first day. Although it’s just the beginning and if the word of mouth continues to remain strong, the film might increase the pace. But this looks difficult especially when you are trying to stand tall opposite SRK's Jawan..
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film follows a story of Ved portrayed by Vicky, a Hindu religious man who later turns out to be of a different religion.
