The 51st International Emmy Awards of the year 2023 are all set to take place on November 20 this year. And the list of the nominees is finally out. Having 56 nominations across 20 countries and 14 categories, the three actor’s names hail from India and they are Jim Sarbh, Shefali Shah and Vir Das.
Jim has been nominated for Best Performance for Rocket Boys, a SonyLiv series. Following the announcement, Jim expressed his gratitude. The actor said, "I am overwhelmed and excited to be nominated under the Best Actor category at the International Emmy Awards for my portrayal of Dr. Homi Bhabha in Rocket Boys. It is an honor to be recognized amongst such talented individuals from across the world. This nomination is a testament to the hard-working, dedicated, and extremely talented cast and crew, who brought the incredible story of Dr. Sarabhai and Dr. Bhabha to life. I loved working on Rocket Boys, a project that salutes India’s scientists, artists, and leaders, the pioneers of a newly birthed nation." He is competing with Gustavo Bassani from Argentina, Martin Freeman from the UK, and Jonas Karlsson from Sweden.
Shefali has been nominated for her role in Delhi Crimes Season 2, a Netflix series. The actress took to her Instagram account to express her happiness and wrote a heartfelt caption:
She will be competing with Connie Nielsen from Denmark, Billie Piper from the UK, and Karla Souza from Mexico.
The next nominee Vir has been nominated for his role in a Netflix comedy Vir Das: Landing, the actor expressed his gratitude over Twitter. He wrote:

He will be running in competition with the Le Flambeau from France, El Encargado from Argentina, and Derry Girls Season 3 from the UK.
