The wait is finally over as the makers of Salaar have announced the official release date of the much anticipated film. Starring the versatile actor Prabhas, fans have been eager to know the updates following which, makers went on to unveil the release date of the film today. Directed by Prashanth Neel the film was supposed to release on September this year but got postponed later and is now all set to release on December 22! The film will be clashing with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.

The Salaar makers took to the Twitter account today sharing the date announcement alongside the poster of the film.

With SRK's golden run at the box office, delivering two Rs 1000 crores films with Pathaan and Jawan, it will be interesting to see how Prabhas' Salaar perfoms alongside and if Dunki is able to hit a hattrick for King Khan.
