Aamir Khan is undoubtedly one of the finest actors of the film industry. He has been associated with films since 1973, starting from Yaadon ki Baaraat as a child artist and made his silver screen debut in 1989 with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. With a career spanning decades, massive blockbuster, and even taking his film to Oscars (with Lagaan), the actor, who 2022 release Laal Singh Chaddha flopped, has been on a sabbatical from acting.
In a recent interview, Aamir went on to share that at a point in his life he wanted to leave films and felt like he was too much engaged with his work and not giving enough time to his family.
The actor said, "Around 2.5 years ago, I realized I was so lost in my passion that I hadn’t given enough time to my relationships. I was disturbed and unhappy. I would have left films if not for my children. I was angry and irritated with myself."
Aamir is the father of three children, Junaid, Ira and Azaad, and his eldest son Junaid is all set to make his first tryst with films as a producer with Pritam Pyare.
Aamir on the other hand will produce Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi's Lahore 1947 and act in another film titled 'Sitare Zameen Par.'
