It’s been just few days since the reports of the Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra teaming up for the first time for Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films been in the news. But the name of the director for the film was kept under covers. Recently, a source in one of the entertainment websites went on to share about the director’s name. And if the reports are to be believed, Tushar Jalota who is known for his film Dasvi that starred Abhishek Bachchan is all set to direct the upcoming Sidharth and Jahnvi starrer.

As mentioned by the source, “Tushar has been working on a thriller for a while now and is all set to take it on floors in 2024. He narrated the film to Dinoo first, who was blown away by the content and then started reaching out to the actors.” The source further added that both the actors were in talks for separate films with Dinesh Vijan but then this film turned up.

Meanwhile, Sidharth would be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s series Indian Police Force alongside Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty Kundra.
