For the second episode of Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan Season 8, the Deol brothers, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol took the couch, and went on to talk about the infamous nepotism debate that has become a hot topic in Bollywood especially in the last few years. 

Expressing his views, Sunny said, "Now I've come to the conclusion that it's just stupid." The Gadar actor added that he believes people use it just out of anger without considering anything else or just because they can’t achieve anything by themselves. He further highlighted that whatever he and his brother Bobby has achieved, it is because of their talent and has nothing to do with both of them being born in the family of actors.

Bobby then went on to say, "We didn't choose to be born to them. We were blessed to be born to them. We didn't ask, we got it." And encouraged people to understand that it doesn’t guarantee success. 

At the end, Sunny gave the example of getting the success with his latest film Gadar 2 after 20 years and the struggles he had to face in between.
