Sushmita Sen, in a recent interview, went on record and spoke about her heart attack that she had while doing an echo check-up and said that it was very unexpected.
She also shared that both her parents have heart condition and she would get check-up every 6 months due to this reason.

Sushmita, during press interaction for Aarya 3, stated, “It happened so suddenly and so unexpectedly given that both my parents have heart conditions. I used to have two check-ups in a year because I was aware that genetically I have that.” 

She further told that she shot the action sequence for her latest release Aarya 3 a month after the heart attack. “It was cathartic in a sense because all of the action that you see in the trailer was shot one month after my heart attack.”

On the work front, Sushmita’s latest series Aarya 3 released today and is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Earlier this year, she was seen in Ravi Jadhav’s directorial Taali.
