Ankita Lokhande is currently seen as a contestant of Bigg Boss Season 17 alongside her husband Vicky Jain, and is in the limelight for making statements and revelations regarding her late ex-BF Sushant Singh Rajput, time to time, on the show.
In a recent episode, she went on to talk about Sushant and shared that he was a very calm person and as he came from a background which had no industry connection would get affected by the negativity he would receive on the social media. Ankita also mentioned that he would keep his anger in control and was very hardworking.
The conversation about the late actor took place when Ankita was sitting in the garden with one of the contestants of the show, Abhishek Kumar, to whom she said, “When you roam around in pants and without shirt, you remind me of Sushant. Uska physique aisa tha.”
To which Abhishek replied, “Our journeys are also similar, the background.”
And then followed the conversation, with Ankita adding, “But woh itna gussa nahi karta tha. Bahut shant tha Sushant. Aap kaise apni journey chalu karte ho. Bahut mehnaati tha wo. Bahut mehnaati, another level of hardwork. He was so dedicated and passionate. But when you are so into detail, a bit of ups and downs affect you.”
She further added, “Sushant would dive deep into anything. Woh ghus jaata tha jo bhi usko chahiye hota tha. Thoda sa bhi upar neeche ho jaata tha, he would get affected. He would get affected by what people are talking about him on Twitter. He would think about people a lot. It was very normal because he was from a small town. Jagah jagah naam kamana is not easy.”
Before this, Ankita also shared with one of the contestants of the show that the separation with the actor was very sudden and he just left her without giving any explanation or reason for it.
Ankita and Sushant were in a relationship for around 7 years until they broke up. Both were famous for the roles of Archana and Manav in the television serial Pavitra Rishta, during the shoot of which they came close and began dating. Sushant died by a suicide on June 14, 2020.
