Pippa starring Ishaan Khatter and Mrunal Thakur in the lead recently released on Amazon Prime. However, soon after the makers began facing backlash for AR Rahman’s rendition of Kazi Nazrul’s Islam song Karar Oi Louho Kopat in the film. Apparently it has been told by the grandson of the poet that the makers were given the permission to use the song but not to alter the rhythm and the tunes of the same.
Following the same, Roy Kapur films took to their Instagram handle to share an apology regarding the same.
