Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has found himself in a controversy after his comment towards Anushka Sharma and Athiya Shetty which is being considered ‘sexist’ and ‘misogynist.’

The incident took place during the final match of India with Australia and World Cup 2023 which happened in Ahmedabad on November 19, 2023. Apparently, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul where on field when camera focused on their wives  Anushka Sharma and Athiya Shetty, during the match who were indulged in the conversation as they came to cheer up for the team. During this instance, Bhajji went on to say, “Yahi main soch raha tha ke baat cricket ki ho rahi hogi ya films ki, kyunki cricket ke baare me to main jaanta nahi ki itni samajh hogi."

Post the comment social media flooded with the criticism towards him addressing the cricketer as a ‘disgrace’ and ‘sexist’.

To be honest, I don't care whether Anushka or Athiya know about cricket or not.

But, both of them know enough to not donate to Pakistani Shahid Afridi's NGO unlike Harbhajan.
