Sunny Deol has made a massive comeback with Gadar 2 this year. Breaking the records one after another, the film turned out to be the second highest all time Hindi grosser. 

As the actor recently attended the 54th International Film Festival 2023 which was held in Goa, filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi went on to praise the actor and said that the film industry didn’t do justice to Sunny till now. Rajkumar said, "I believe that the industry has not done justice to Sunny’s talent. But God has done justice.” After hearing this, Sunny got emotional and broke down in tears on the stage. 

Earlier, Sunny also appeared on the second episode of  Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan Season 8 alongside his brother Bobby Deol where he spoke about the rough period he had after getting the success of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha that released back in 2001.

Sunny would be next seen in Lahore 1947 which will be directed by Rajkumar and produced by Aamir Khan.
