Karan Johar made a comeback as a director with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani earlier this year. In a recent interview, he went on to praise Konkona Sen Sharma's work as a director in Lust Stories 2. Konkona directed a segment titled ‘The Mirror. The filmmaker has appreciated her for her careful and unique work, particularly in the scene that featured Tillotama Shome and Amruta Subhash at a vegetable vendor.

 He also mentioned that only an actor-turned-director could bring something like this and even admitted watching the scene thrice. According to him, all elements were perfectly placed. He admitted that the scene deeply impacted him and urged all the filmmakers to watch it. 

The Mirror is a short film that has been directed by the actress and is streaming on Netflix. It’s a part of Lust Stories 2 and released in June of this year.
