Deepika Padukone has been among the top listers ever since she made her debut in 2007. After having 2 successful releases Jawan and Pathaan earlier this year, the actress is all set to venture into a Netflix film. 

Yes, if the latest reports are to be believed, Deepika is in the conversation for an action thriller which will revolve around the topic of the drug mafia. It further mentioned that the actress is excited about it and is checking if it would fit her schedule. 

As per the source mentioned in one of the websites, “She has seen the power and the reach of the OTT medium, and is eager to explore it further. It’s a project for Netflix, and will revolve around the drug mafia culture in India, told from a female perspective. It is a very interesting project and will involve a lot of action and intense sequences. She is eager to sign the project and wants to sign it. However, at the moment, she is checking her schedule. If she signs the dotted line, they plan to start shooting early next year.”

Meanwhile, Deepika is preparing for her upcoming release Fighter where she will star opposite Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and will release on January 25 next year.
