Twinkle Khanna recently went on to share about shooting for the song Mohabbat Ho Gayee alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Baadshah. Admitting that many actresses would starve and follow diet to look fit enough on camera, she revealed that she followed a strict diet, especially during the shoot of this song and would consume only roasted gram.

She also recalled a part of the song where the actor was supposed to lift her up and said that she was scared at that time and kept clenching herself.

Twinkle said, “So, this was my diet. And in this song, Shah Rukh Khan had to lift me up, and I was so scared that I would explode like the gas canisters in the Parliament, but I didn’t. So if you see my teeth clenching there, other things are also clenching and just holding on, but yes, I survived that bit as well.”

Directed by Mustan Burmawalla and Abbas Burmawalla, the film released on  August 27, 1999.
