Merry Christmas starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead finally had its release yesterday. The film follows the story of two strangers Albert (Vijay)  and Maria (Katrina) who cross each other paths and further, a roller-coaster of the events takes place. This unusual thriller has turned up with many twists and the performances of the actors are being appreciated by the fans. 

Despite the buzz, the film has started on not so high note but as it's just the first day it may still catch up with the pace in the coming time. For now, the box office collection of the film for the first day stands at Rs 2.55 crores. 

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film released on January 12, 2024. It also stars Sanjay Kapoor and Radhika Apte alongside Katrina and Vijay.
