Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan has been the talk of the town for the longest time. While rumours are rife that Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi are headlining the project as Lord Ram and Sita, the makers are maintaining secrecy over the casting. As per the new development, Vijay Sethupathi is reportedly in talks for the role of Vibhishana. A source close to Ramayan informed Pinkvilla that the makers are in discussion with the actor to play Ravan's brother in the magnum opus.

The source shared with Pinkvilla, "Nitesh Tiwari recently met Vijay Sethupathi and took him through the script and the world that he is looking to create with Ramayana for the spectacle. Vijay was blown away by the narration and the visuals and has shown his interest in the film."

Reportedly, Yash makes his Bollywood debut with Ramayan as Ravan. Sunny Deol is expected to play Hanuman whereas Lara Dutta is said to be roped in as Kaikeyi. As per reports, the film will go on floors in March.
