Amid growing speculations, former South Africa captain AB de Villiers confirmed on his YouTube show today that the couple is indeed gearing up to welcome a new member home soon.

AB de Villiers said, "Yes, his second child is on the way. Yes, it's family time and things are important to him. If you are not true and genuine to yourself, you lose track of what you are here for. I think most people's priority is family. You can't judge Virat for that. Yes, we miss him. But he has made absolutely the right decision."

Anushka and Virat tied the knot in December 2017 in Italy in a private and intimate ceremony. Their first child, daughter Vamika, was born on January 11, 2021. The couple has fiercely guarded the baby girl from the media's attention.
