After building the right amount of hype, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya released in theatres amid excitement. The story is unconventional. It revolves around the love story of a human and a robot. It is directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah whereas Dinesh Vijan has backed it under his production house, Maddock Films. 

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya opened on a positive note with a collection of Rs. 14.04 crores worldwide. The weekend run for the film started on a great note. As per trade sources, the rom-com has witnessed a whopping 60% jump on Saturday. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is also trending positively at the ticket counter and is expecting to get a strong footfall over the weekend.

Interestingly, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is trending better than previous rom-coms in the past year. The human-robot love story is growing by 60% on its first weekend, whereas films like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Satyaprem Ki Katha, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Zara Hatke Zara Bachke jumped in the range of 15 to 40%. It is the first movie in this genre to experience a whopping escalation.
