Suhani Bhatnagar, who rose to fame with Dangal, breathed her last at the age of 19 on February 16. She lived with her parents in Faridabad and was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi for treatment. The news of her demise shook the entire film fraternity. 

Aamir Khan, who played Suhani's father in Dangal, paid a visit to her residence in Faridabad to offer his condolence. In a viral picture, the actor can be seen with the late actress' parents and her photo frame was placed in the centre of a table. 

In an interview with ANI, Suhani's mother revealed Aamir was in touch with the actress. However, she stated that the superstar wasn't informed about the actress' medical condition. "Aamir Sir has always been in touch. He is a nice person. He always remained in touch with her. We didn't inform him because we were already very disturbed, so we didn't tell anyone, including him (Aamir Khan), but definitely, if we sent him a text message, he would immediately respond and call us personally. He bonded well with Suhani from the beginning," Suhani's mother shared.

She also said that Aamir had invited Suhani and the entire family to Ira Khan's wedding with Nupur Shikhare in January. Due to the Dangal star's fractured leg, they couldn't attend the ceremony. 

Suhani was diagnosed with Dermatomyositis and was undergoing treatment for the same at AIIMS.
