The trailer of the much- awaited film Maidaan starring Ajay Devgn in the lead is out. Starring Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Rudeanil Ghosh alongside the actor, Maidaan follows a story of an unknown hero, Syed Abdul Rahim, who brought pride to India through football. The film takes audience on a journey of how the coach played by Ajay, created history and records for India, achievements unmatched even 60 years later in the world's most played sport, football.

Based on a true story, the film is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and is set to release on EID. It is produced by Zee Studios and written by Saiwyn Quadra’s and Ritesh Shah. Besides Maidaan, the actor will also be seen in upcoming horror film Shaaitan.
