Boney Kapoor attended the trailer launch of the upcoming film Maidaan which took place yesterday in Mumbai. The film will feature Ajay Devgn in the lead and is a sports drama based on a real story. During the same, Boney went on to joke how Arjun Kapoor feels Maidaan's director Amit Sharma is his real son and he's adopted.

He said, "Amit, I've known for quite some time. He's my real son, and Arjun (Kapoor) is probably an adopted son. Ye Tevar se chala aa raha hai (He's been with me since Tevar (2015), but of
course, he gives me all the love as a son, and I try to do my best as a father."

He further added, "Kuch cheezen sahi ho jaati hain, kuch cheezen galat hoti hain. Jitni meri capacity hai uske hisaab se main kaam kar sakta hoon. Ab tak to ye khush lagta hai, kamse kam on the face of it"

Directed by Amit Sharma, Maidaan is set to release this EID.
