Shah Rukh Khan was the highlight of the recently concluded Zee Cine Awards 2024, captivating audiences with his stylish appearance on the red carpet, captivating performance onstage, and clinching the Best Actor award for "Jawan" and "Pathaan." His presence has dominated social media discussions. A fan account shared a series of video clips on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing SRK's heartfelt and candid acceptance speech at the Mumbai event. In the latest video, posted on Tuesday, the 58-year-old star expressed, "It's been a while since I last won an award. It's been eight-nine years. I was receiving love but not awards. This marks my first award in many years."

The actor from "Dunki" expressed gratitude towards his team for the success of his film, his on-stage performance, and the award bestowed upon him on Sunday night. After a nine-year hiatus from the award ceremony, the superstar dedicated his Best Actor trophy to his children Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, and AbRam, as well as his wife Gauri Khan. With his trademark wit, SRK then delighted the audience by adding his iconic 'baap' dialogue in tribute to his children: "As long as your father is alive, entertainment lives on!"

The iconic star of DDLJ also reflected on a challenging period in his career while expressing his gratitude. "I'd like to share something personal. About four to five years ago, I faced setbacks with my films and felt disappointed in myself. I found solace in spending time at home, baking pizzas and making rotis with my children. I immersed myself in playing with them. Additionally, the next three to four years were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic," he reminisced.
