Prime Video announced the upcoming project Matka King today. It will feature Vijay Varma in the lead. 

The story is set in 1960’s Mumbai and revolves around a cotton trader who aspires to get legitimacy and respect. Ending up with a new game called ‘Matka’ which takes the city by storm and completely democratizes the terrain that was previously announced for rich and elite class. 

Directed by Nagraj Manjula. It has been produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Nagaraj Manjule, Gargi Kulkarni,
Ashish Aryan, and Ashwini Sidwani.
