Rajesh A. Krishnan’s latest directorial Crew has been taking over the theatres and soaring higher with each passing day.
Released on March 29 starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon in the lead.
The film also emerged as the highest female lead opening film and is all set to continue with the great performance.
In a recent interview, the director was asked about the possibility of the second part of the film to which Rajesh replied that is depends upon producers but at the same time didn’t deny about it giving a hint that it might be in his plans.
He said, "That's
a question Rhea (Kapoor) will be able to
answer. But for me, whether Crew 2 happens
or not will depend on the script. What I read
and what material develops is going to be very
important. I am overwhelmed by the love that has come our way for Crew. So, if there is a follow-up or a sequel coming up, it will only materialise once we have a solid script in place. “
He further added, '"I am happy to see Kriti do theatre visits to see
the audience reaction and Kareena has just got back from a holiday. So we are in touch and
perhaps Tabu, Kareena, Kriti and I will soon catch up."
The film revolved around the lives of 3 air hostesses who are working for an airline that is at the verge of the bankruptcy.
