Hrithik Roshan who was last seen in Siddharth Anand’s directorial ‘Fighter’ is surely among the top actors of Bollywood and has been impressing the audience with his performances ever since he made his debut opposite Ameesha Patel with ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai.’ 

However, Ram Gopal Varma recently talked about the actor and said that one can’t predict the success of the other.

He also shared that before the debut film of the actor, no one was signing him.

He said, "When I saw Hrithik Roshan, I didn't  think he would become a star. Most of the industry also did not think, because of which they didn't sign him. Before his first film Kaho Naa…. Pyaar Hai released, nobody signed him. And once he became a superstar everybody is after him."

The filmmaker was further asked the reason some of his recent films didn’t work. 

Responding to which he said, "Forget about the number of flops I've made. The fact
that if you knew it, why would you make a flop? It is as simple as that."
