Sunny Deol ruled over the theatre screens last year after the release of his film 'Gadar 2' and is now all set to appear alongside Preity Zinta in 'Lahore 1947.'
  
Recently, as he appeared on Kapil Sharma's show, the actor recalled his childhood days and revealed how his mother would beat him if he would hurt himself during the play.

Sunny said, “I used to get hurt and my mom would still beat me up with chappal and I would be bleeding.” 

He also added that he has always been afraid of his mom and would get beaten up by her a lot of times.

Meanwhile, his upcoming film 'Lahore 1947' is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and is produced by Aamir Khan.
