Richa Chadha is currently seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' and is being praised for her role of 'Lajjo' in the series.
Despite having limited screen time, the actress managed to win the hearts of the audience.
Recently, the actress talked about her thoughts on feminism and also revealed that she had come across some female makers in the industry which treated her badly.
She said, "I don’t think I subscribe to the fact that all women are saints. I’ve had some terrible experiences with female producers whose cheques bounced and they pretend to be feminists on Twitter. I’ve also had toxic co-actors constantly competing with me by not giving the right cues and cutting out the lights in scenes. I can’t say that I have had a uniform, monolithic experience.
Richa added, “Sisterhood definitely exists and it’s real when you build it, craft it and nurture it. But it takes more than one person to understand and create that."
Her latest 'Heeramandi released on May 1 and features Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sonakshi Sinha, Manishia Koirala, Shekhar Suman and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead.
