The social media star Anjali Arora recently mentioned that she has been finalised for the role of Sita in a much awaited Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial ‘Ramayana.’

Anjali said,   "I believe they saw something in me that convinced them I could do justice to the
character. I was finalised last month, and since then, I
have been watching videos, doing readings, and attending workshops. I will give my best to do justice to the character."

She further added, "If I am compared to a Bollywood
actress, I will be happy. “

‘Ramayana’ stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead and has been in talks for a long time.

Whereas the names of several other celebrities surfaced including Lara Dutta, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, there have been no confirmation for the same.

The film will be a part of trilogy and the shooting is in the process.
