Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial ‘Animal’ released last year and went on to perform well at the box office setting up the records.

Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri in the lead, the film however also received criticism for certain scenes and representation of the characters.

Recently, Bhushan Kumar talked about the some and revealed that the filmmaker dislikes getting criticism on his work.

He further said how he explained to the director that it’s okay to be getting it as it is anyways benefiting their film. 

He added, "All said and done. It has become a cult film.
Everybody is waiting for part 2. We ve done 900crores of gross all over the world, so it's humungous. People want to talk, let them talk; that doesn't bother us.”
