Sanjeeda Shaikh recently appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,’ managing to receive a lot of praise from the audience for her performance in the series.

In a recent interview, the actress was asked about her role in Siddharth Anand’s directorial ‘Fighter’ which released earlier this year.

The film also featured Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. 

Sanjeeda, who was a part of the film however had limited screen time about which she spoke in an interview.

She said, "I'm a very secure actor or, you can also say, I'm a secure individual. The duration of the role surely matters, but making an impact in a limited time frame is also important, and I consider myself blessed to do that with Fighter.”

The actress further added,  “Even with Heeramandi, I wasn't sure in the start what the duration of my role is going to be, but, as I started shooting, Sanjay sir was an excellent mentor and the final product is for everyone to watch."

Her latest ‘Heeramandi’ released on May 1 and is streaming on Netflix.

It also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha and Sharmin Segal in the lead.
