Anil Kapoor to Sanya Malhotra, B-Town celebrities step out to cast their vote during 5th phase of 2024 Lok Sabha Elections

As the 2024 Lok Sabha elections reach their fifth phase, several Bollywood stars were spotted making their way to polling booths to cast their votes. Among the celebrities who turned up to exercise their democratic right were Akshay Kumar, Jahnvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Farhan Khan, capturing the attention of fans and media alike.

Akshay Kumar, who regained his Indian citizenship, voted for the first time. After casting his vote, he interacted with the media, expressing his hopes for a developed and strong India. In a video shared by ANI on X (formerly Twitter), Akshay said, “I want my India to be developed and strong. I voted keeping that in mind. India should vote for what they deem is right...I think voter turnout will be good."

Janhvi Kapoor was also seen outside a polling centre in Mumbai, wearing a pink anarkali set. Her appearance added a touch of glamour to the voting scene.

Ali Fazal took to Instagram to share his experience, posting a picture with the caption, “lets see, who voted today? Just a yes or no.” His post encouraged interaction among his followers.

Rajkummar Rao also used Instagram to motivate people to vote. He shared an image on Instagram Stories highlighting his inked finger with the message, “Do cast your vote, everyone.”

Sanya Malhotra shared her enthusiasm post-voting with a happy picture on Instagram, accompanied by the simple caption, “Done.”

Sunny Kaushal posted on Instagram Stories as well, declaring, “Duty fulfilled successfully...Did you guys vote?” His post served as a reminder to his fans about the importance of voting.

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor emphasized the civic duty of voting after completing his voting procedure. He said, "I have cast my vote. All citizens of India should vote."

 

With these Bollywood stars leading by example, the importance of participating in the democratic process was underscored, encouraging their fans and the public to fulfill their civic duties.
