Sushmita Sen is not only one of the finest actors in the film industry but is also the first woman from India to be crowned as Miss Universe.
The pageant took place in 1994, when Sushmita emerged as the winner becoming a pride for the country with her win. As she is celebrating 30 years of her victory, the actress took to her Instagram handle and uploaded a post with a caption that read.
“This little girl, who I met in an orphanage, taught an 18 yr old me, life’s most innocent yet profound lessons, ones that I live by to this day. This captured moment is 30 yrs old today as is India’s first ever Victory at Miss Universe!!!
