Shah Rukh Khan used body double during horse riding scene in Baazigar, directors Abbas-Mustan reveal

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Baazigar’ remains one of the finest films in actor’s filmography till date and audience still enjoy watching it again and again.

But did you know that the horse riding scene wasn’t performed by the actor ? The director duo Abbas-Mustan revealed that the body double was used during the shot and Shah Rukh didn’t actually do it by himself.

During a recent interview, the duo shared that it was the owner of the horse who actually performed it and as he wore a mask, it was hard to identify that actor isn’t the one.

Mustan said, "He was wearing a robe, a hat, and a mask on his face and his eyes were covered. The horse riding was done by the horse owner, a body double. “

He further revealed that once the scene changes and the closer shot of the actor appears riding down from the slope, there was actually no horse during filming of that.

Shah Rukh was recently on a sabbatical from acting and returned to screens last year with 3 back to back releases beginning the year with ‘Pathaan’ followed by ‘Jawan’ and ending the year with the ‘Dunki.’

All the films performed well at the box office and managed to bring the audience to the theatres.
