Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his upcoming project ‘Love and War’ starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal last year generating huge excitement among the fans for the film.

Whereas Alia and Ranbir have previously been associated with the filmmaker Vicky will be working with him for the first time.

Besides, Vicky and Alia worked together in ‘Raazi’ and Ranbir worked with both the actors in ‘Sanju’ and ‘Brahmastra’ respectively.

However, it will be the first time trio would be working together and under the guidance of Sanjay.

In a recent interview, the filmmaker talked about the reason he decided to cast these actors together.

He said, "It's a new language, milieu, and ambience for me."

 "It's nice to work with this wonderful cast of Ranbir,
Vicky, and Alia. It'll be nice to see how their chemistry works."

Sanjay also debut with his web series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ this year which is currently streaming on Netflix.

It released on May 1 and stars Manisha Koirala, Sharmin Segal, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha and Sanjeeda Sheikh in the lead.
